Paint Shop Pro is a Shareware image editing program from Jasc Inc. It supports 30 popular image formats and offers a wide array of editing tools. Paint Shop Pro let's you: make transparent GIF's, make progressive JPEG's, and use enhanced masking. As more features have been added to PSP it has become a viable alternative to the pricey Adobe Photoshop. PSP also supports Photoshop plugins for advanced editing capabilities.
